Last week, the conservative media organization released a video accusing campaign workers for Rep. Ilhan Omar and Minneapolis City Councilman Jamal Osman of harvesting primary ballots for money and intimidating elderly voters in Minnesota. The video featured footage of Liban Osman, Osman's brother, driving around with what appears to be dozens of mail-in ballots while talking about money in politics. On Monday, Liban told FOX affiliate KMSP that he was "set up" and that had previously been offered a bribe of $10,000 from Omar Jamal, a community activist and alleged "insider" for Project Veritas.

U.K.-based security firm Pen Test Partners said the flaw in the Qiui Cellmate internet-connected chastity lock, billed as the “world’s first app controlled chastity device,” could have allowed anyone to remotely and permanently lock in the user’s penis. The Cellmate chastity lock works by allowing a trusted partner to remotely lock and unlock the chamber over Bluetooth using a mobile app. That app communicates with the lock using an API. But that API was left open and without a password, allowing anyone to take complete control of any user’s device. Because the chamber was designed to lock with a metal ring underneath the user’s penis, the researchers said it may require the intervention of a heavy-duty bolt cutter or an angle grinder to free the user.

Netflix has reversed a renewal decision on its dramedy GLOW, citing COVID-19 issues in not going forward with a fourth and final season for the series. The streamer has also canceled Teenage Bounty Hunters after a single season, though the decision there was not COVID-related. Both shows are executive produced by Jenji Kohan. "We've made the difficult decision not to do a fourth season of GLOW due to COVID, which makes shooting this physically intimate show with its large ensemble cast especially challenging," said a Netflix spokesperson. "We are so grateful to creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, Jenji Kohan and all the writers, cast and crew for sharing this story about the incredible women of GLOW with us and the world." GLOW had started production on season four, which was to have been its final one, in February. It completed one episode and started a second before the coronavirus pandemic led to production shutdowns for it and hundreds of other series and films in mid-March.

The Supreme Court, siding with Republicans, on Monday restored a South Carolina requirement that absentee ballots be signed by a witness. A lower court in South Carolina had ruled that the state legislature was wrong to retain the witness signature requirement during the COVID-19 pandemic. A three-judge panel of the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated the requirement, and then the full appeals court put it on hold again. Democrats had sought to have the witness requirement suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic, but Republicans said it deterred fraud.

(CNN Business)John McAfee, the antivirus software magnate and former Libertarian presidential candidate, has been indicted for tax evasion. McAfee allegedly failed to file his taxes for four years despite earning millions in income between 2014 and 2018 from promoting cryptocurrencies, consulting work, speaking engagements, and selling the rights to his life story for a documentary, according to the indictment filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. The indictment alleges that McAfee evaded taxes by having his income paid into bank accounts and cryptocurrency accounts in the names of others, while also using the names of others to conceal ownership of property and assets including a yacht. The amount McAfee owes was not specified in the indictment. The June 15, 2020 indictment was unsealed following McAfee's arrest in Spain where he is pending extradition, prosecutors said. According to an attachment to the indictment, if convicted, McAfee faces a maximum of five years in prison on each count of tax evasion and a maximum of one year for each count of willful failure to file a tax return. McAfee also faces a period of supervised release, restitution, and over $350,000 in monetary penalties, according to the indictment.

Process servers are supposed to deliver summonses that tell tenants about their eviction cases.
